Here’s a quick look on how you can adjust the brightness & contrast of your photos, to get better looking print outs. With Photoshop there are 2 methods of doing so.

Method 1: Brightness/Contrast

Step 1: On the Menu Bar click Image > Adjustments > Brightness/Contrast.

Step 2: The Brightness/Contrast dialogue box will appear. You can adjust or edit the value of the brightness and contrast. Tick the “Preview” checkbox so that  you can view the changes in your photo while editing. Once you’re happy with what you see click “OK”.

Method 2: Curves

Step 1: On the Menu Bar Click Image > Adjustments > Curves.

Step 2: The Curves dialogue box will appear. Tick the “Preview” checkbox and  just drag the line. You can view the changes in your photo while editing. Once you’re happy with what you see click “OK”.
