The month of love, what better time to pop the big question — asking the love of your life for her hand in marriage. Make your marriage proposal unique, that she’ll be talking about it for the rest of her life.

A Lifetime of Promises

Here’s how you can re-create this idea:

Step 1: Preparation and Materials

i. Make ‘Promise Cards’ using Personalised Playing Cards. Your promises could be: “I promise to make you breakfast in bed every Sunday”, “I promise to take you on holidays twice a year”, “I promise to listen better”, ” I promise to love you for the rest of our lives”, etc. Complement your cards with photos of the two of you.

ii. You will need a frame , some string and cute pegs to string you promise cards, as shown in the picture above.

iii. Print out the words “M A R R Y  M E ?” on a sheet of coloured paper and cut them out.

iv.  Optional: A plastic or satin rose for decoration.

Step 2:  Now, you can start putting all the items together to create your ‘proposal’.

i. Place the printed out “M A R R Y  M E ?” on the top of the frame using glue or blue tack.

ii. Add on two pieces of string across. Depending on your frame you can glue it on from the back our secure them with staples.

iii. Peg your Promises Cards onto the string.

iv. Place the rose on the top right to give your ‘proposal’ a more finished look.

Make your future wife’s heart melt with your handmade proposal from the heart!
